Margarita has been a Pediatric Dental Assistant for over ten years. She loves taking day trips to the countryside, visiting antique shops and spending time with her adorable daughter and husband.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Belmar.
What was your dream job as a child? It changed every week! I always saw myself being on stage as a backup dancer or an actress.
Why did you choose to work in pediatrics? I choose to work with children because its much more rewarding. I also feel as though I can relate to children and their anxiety about visiting the dentist because I myself had a difficult time going to the dentist when I was younger.
Do you have any hidden talents? I’m still trying to figure out my hidden talent, but I do enjoy doing makeup.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why? If I was a crayon I’d be the color lavender – it’s dainty & makes me happy.
Can you play any instruments? Unfortunately I have never been able to play any instruments.
What is your favorite cereal? Puffins!
Do you have any pets? We don’t have any pets but we would like a Bloodhound. Right now a toddler is enough!
What is your superhero persona? The Black Widow!
What’s your favorite thing about working at Shore Children’s Dental Care and why would you recommend the practice to parents looking for the best in care for their children? My favorite thing about working at SCDC is the quality of care given to each and every child no matter what. The doctors and staff go above and beyond for their patients. I also love the people I work with. The dynamic of an office is determined by how well people work together and we wouldn’t be able to make it through the days without each other. We truly have an amazing team. As a parent I look for the BEST care for my child, someone who takes the time and makes the investment to deliver the best care possible. Between the experienced doctors, knowledgeable staff, cutting edge equipment and warm & inviting atmosphere I wouldn’t tell parents to bring their children anywhere else.
Shore Children’s Dental Care is where my little one will go for all her dental needs until she is 30!!
