Where did you grow up? I grew up in a little town called Unionville, Pennsylvania.
What was your dream job as a child? I always knew I wanted to work with children in the medical field and I loved dentistry – so really I am so very lucky to have my dream job as a Pediatric Dentist. The only extra part to my dream job is that I also wanted to be an astronaut – possibly a dentist on a space station. Actually, I loved the idea of being a astronaut so much that I was lucky to attend Space Camp twice! Eventually I realized it would be hard to be a dentist in space in zero gravity 🙂
Why did you choose to work in pediatrics? This is something I have always known that I wanted to do. I love working with children, getting them to laugh and smile is absolutely the best! And I hope that in these efforts to help shape their dental experience that they will carry into adulthood.
Do you have any hidden talents? Hmm, Not sure they are hidden talents but I love to play the piano, and I can drive a golf ball pretty well – although since I’ve had my twins I haven’t made it to the golf course all that often. 🙂
You’re a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why? Bright Pink! It always makes me smile – its so vibrant!
Can you play any instruments? I played the clarinet from 4th grade through 12th grade – although I haven’t picked it up lately to see how I sound. I also played the Oboe for a year in high school just to try something new. I play the piano still to this day, although not nearly as much as I would like, and I still really love it!
What is your favorite cereal? I really like the Trader Joe’s Strawberry Cheerios Cereal.
Do you have any pets? I have a cute little white colored girl Havaneese/Poodle mix or “Havapoo” named Lecce.
What is your superhero persona? I had no idea on this question so I asked some of the ladies in the office and they said Superwoman 🙂
What’s your favorite thing about working at Shore Dental and why would you recommend the practice to parents looking for the best in care for their children? I absolutely love our staff and of course our amazing patients- it isn’t ever like “work” and I truly enjoy every day. As a team we work to make happy visits and healthy, sparkly smiles!! As a pediatric dentist I love that we always stay up to date with the latest materials and techniques!
